The 41/45 splits the difference between size and strength, pairing a thick 5/16 inch shackle with a compact body shorter than its HB50 counterpart. Anyone locking down equipment in a tight space, without wanting to drop cut resistance to get there, lands on this model.
ABUS 41/45 Laminated Steel
This laminated steel padlock features ETERNA™ coating on each individual laminate for extreme corrosion resistance, treated layer by layer instead of coated as one piece. Rivets sit in the outer laminates, protecting rivet heads from chipping.
A hardened, double-bolted shackle made from special alloy steel anchors the lock, and a precision pin tumbler cylinder locks the mechanism down. Push the shackle in, and the self-locking design engages without a key.
