Q: What does the Fire Protection Limited Reimbursement Guarantee include?
A: The Fire Protection Limited Reimbursement Guarantee provides extra financial protection for valuables stored in eligible Sentry® Safe models.
To activate this additional protection for your safe contents, complete and mail the insurance registration card. The coverage must be renewed annually to remain active, and you will receive yearly update notices once your registration is complete.
SentrySafe’s insurance provider will reimburse you for the fair market value of the valuables lost in a fire in eligible Sentry® Safe Fire models, up to $50,000 USD. This applies to model numbers beginning with SF, SFW, and STW. For full terms and conditions, refer to the insurance registration information included with your safe.
Reimbursement covers direct physical loss caused by fire and does not include consequential damage, such as melting or water damage. Coverage is subject to the limitations outlined on the completed registration form.
This Fire Protection Limited Reimbursement Guarantee does not cover loss due to theft. Reimbursement is secondary to any valid property insurance already carried by the safe owner.
Q: Does Sentry® Safe offer a Lifetime Warranty?
A: Yes. Sentry®Safe offers a Lifetime Warranty for After-Fire Replacement. If your Fire Safe product is damaged by fire, and you are the original owner, Sentry®Safe will ship a replacement to you, free of charge.
To report fire damage and request a replacement, please contact us with the following information:
- Your full name and mailing address
- The safe’s model and/or serial number, along with photos of the damaged unit
- A description of the fire, including copies of the fire department and insurance reports
