When a standard padlock leaves too much shackle exposed, the ABUS 26/70 Diskus changes the equation entirely. Hand-welded stainless steel housing, a drill and pull-resistant cylinder, and 360-degree all-around protection make this the padlock that trucks and high-value storage applications have been waiting for.
ABUS 26/70 Padlock
The ABUS 26/70 Diskus Padlock features a heavy-duty stainless-steel body and a massive inner base for enhanced security. The two stainless steel housing halves use ABUS Diskus® Deep-Welding Technology and are hand-welded at the seam, so the halves cannot be forced apart.
The Diskus® design works differently from a conventional padlock. The disk shape limits shackle exposure to a small opening, making bolt-cutter and prying attacks significantly harder to execute.
Made in Germany, the 26/70 features the original Diskus® design and includes a key-retaining function that keeps the key in place until the lock is fully secured.

The disk lock is a special form of the padlock with some distinct advantages. The disk shape effectively combats the most common ways of forcing it open. The design with only a small opening in the shackle makes it very difficult to tamper with. As the ABUS Diskus® is made mainly of stainless steel, it is used especially where security and protection against corrosion are required.
360-degree All-round Protection
The Diskus® family is available in models with diameters between 50 and 80 mm. The original Diskus® is only available from ABUS. As a special model, the locks can be retrofitted with a disk cylinder (ABUS-Plus locking system) or cylinder pulling protection.
